Association Services

Membership Services

DCI will develop and maintain your membership records and databases, including prospective members. As a centralized location for your association information, DCI processes current and prospect member inquiries, prepares and distributes membership publications, and conducts dues billings. DCI becomes your association staff, contributing to your organizational planning and goals, whether facilitating cooperation among members and member organizations or providing communication between the Central Office and your membership via the Internet.

General Administrative Services

DCI provides regular business hours (8:30am – 5:00pm CST) for your association, including a centralized mailing address for distribution and processing of mail, a single phone number and reception service, storage for historical and active files and inventories, and necessary office equipment. By sharing these overhead expenses with other associations, you save money. DCI's central geographic location also offers a convenient time zone compromise for both coasts.

Meeting Planning

DCI specializes in planning meetings and workshops of all kinds and sizes, throughout the country. We coordinate the arrangements, from promotion to distribution of materials, for annual conventions of thousands to small board meetings. Beginning with site selection, DCI will work with the facility and other necessary vendors to make sure no detail is forgotten.

Membership Communications & Publications

DCI will solicit advertising and write or collect copy for your association publications. Editors and proofreaders will tailor content and coordinate style with typesetters and printers to create a professional publication or news release to be distributed to your membership or to the press.

Financial Reports

DCI receives and pays all association bills in accordance with the association policies. By recording monthly ledger entries and monitoring deposits on a customized accounting system, DCI can prepare financial statements and P&Ls for association finance committees on a regular basis. In cooperation with association officers, DCI oversees annual association budgets and develops and implements investment strategies for association funds. In addition, DCI works with a CPA to prepare and submit association annual tax filings.

Board/Committee Support

DCI will provide administrative support for all association board and committee activities, including developing meeting agenda and correspondence, scheduling meetings and conference calls, and processing and distributing meeting minutes. DCI will also assist with and make recommendations to the committees on how to achieve the most successful communications to the association membership.
