Allison Burwell, President
Allison Burwell grew up working in the association management and meeting planning industry.  After working for Diversified Consultants, Inc. for over eight years, Allison graduated from the University of Kansas in 1999 with a degree in Business Administration.  Upon graduation, she decided to expand her knowledge of the association management industry by working for other national associations.  In 2002, she returned to DCI and was later named Executive Director of the Independent Payroll Providers Association (IPPA).  In addition to this role, she was also named Meeting/Scholarship Coordinator for the ICAK-U.S.A.  After a short sabbatical to focus on her family, Allison returned to DCI in early 2011 as President.

Jennifer Palmer, Chief Operations Officer
Jennifer Palmer joined DCI in 1994 as an Association/Conference Manager after three years as a meeting planner at a public affairs firm in Washington, DC.  Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Spanish from the University of Kansas.  Since 1994, Jennifer has been instrumental in growing DCI’s accounts and client services.  She currently serves as Executive Director of Popeyes International Franchisee Association, the International College of Applied Kinesiology-USA, and Blue Roof Franchisee Association.  In addition to her client roles, Jennifer manages all staff and office operations of DCI, as well as acts as a seasoned advisor to staff on all types of association daily issues, meetings, and trade shows.  Jennifer is committed to offering great customer service to clients and promoting servant leadership to the DCI team.

Lysa Little
Lysa Little as been with DCI since 1997.  Lysa serves as the Executive Director for Taco Bell FRANMAC, a QSR franchise association representing all franchisees of Taco Bell nationwide.  In her FRANMAC role, Lysa is responsible for managing membership services and board and committee activities.  Lysa also oversees FRANMAC’s quarterly magazine, FRANMAC News, and their website administration. Further, Lysa serves as FRANMAC meeting manager overseeing FRANMAC’s Annual Legislative Conference and National Convention, where she directs the meeting logistics and activities including speech editorial, graphic management, and show production.

Nan Urban
Since 1998, Nan's duties at DCI have crossed over between several organizations demonstrating her flexibility and experience with various industries. Nan currently serves as Assistant Convention Manager for FRANMAC’s Annual Convention managing the Exhibitor Showcase, sponsorships, and various other on-site events.  Nan also works on the FRANMAC Franchisee Forum coordinating the Exhibitor Showcase and assisting in registration, and the FRANMAC News quarterly publication selling advertising. For PIFA, Nan acts as the meeting coordinator, vendor liaison, Board and Committee support, and Publications Editor for its quarterly publication.  Additionally, Nan holds the role of Executive Director of TPG.  In this role, she assists the Board and Committees and manages membership services and various components of the TPG Annual Conference.

Cheryl Whelan
Since joining DCI in 2006, Cheryl has supported various clients. Currently, Cheryl is the Executive Director of the IPPA.  In this role, Cheryl works directly with the Board of Directors and committees working on their initiatives to help move the association forward to achieve its goals and objectives.  Cheryl also directs the management of the IPPA Annual Conference and all related activities.  Additionally, Cheryl works with FRANMAC membership and manages the Technology and Government Affairs Committees, maintains the association website, and processes the weekly online newsletter.  She also manages attendee registration for the FRANMAC Annual Convention and plans the FRANMAC Legislative Conference in Washington, DC each year.  Further, Cheryl manages the TACO PAC activities including fundraising, event management, and contribution tracking.

Angela Capra
Angela has been with DCI for seven years gaining experience on many clients.  Currently her responsibilities are shared between IPPA, FRANMAC, and ICAK-U.S.A. For IPPA, Angela serves as the Workshop Coordinator planning the Sales & Marketing Workshop and Vendor/Sponsor Coordinator for the Annual Conference. Angela also facilitates membership services for both the Payroll Service Bureau Members and Allied Members.  Angela supports the FRANMAC Board and Operations Committee. She is behind the scenes at the FRANMAC Convention and Franchise Forum assisting with production and on-site activities.  Further, Angela coordinates the Lance West Scholarship Program and the ICAK-U.S.A. Annual Meeting including continuing education credits, on-site events, and speaker forum.  Angela is also responsible for managing the marketing, sales, and distribution of the ICAK-U.S.A. patient education products and materials through Triad of Health Publishing.

Shelley Klein

Shelley joined DCI in October 2010.  She currently splits her time between 4 clients.  As Executive Director of PASBA, she works with the Board of Directors, plans their semi-annual conferences and is responsible for publishing the quarterly newsletter as well as maintaining the membership database.  She is also the Executive Director of the IDCFA.  As with her role in PASBA, she works with the Board and plans the North American Regional Meeting.  In addition, she manages their annual budget and facilitates membership services.

Shelley also serves as the Membership Coordinator for TPG and provides additional meeting support for IPPA at both the Annual Conference and Sales & Marketing Workshop.

Julie Mills
Julie Mills came to DCI after a 12-year history in the financial management industry where her principle focus was on small business accounting. Julie’s primary role is Controller for DCI and its clients. In this role, she maintains the financial information for each association, which includes balancing bank statements, preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, reports, and budgets for each of the association’s boards; processing and tracking each association’s income and expenses; formulating and filing quarterly FEC reports for PACs; and preparing financial information and support documentation for end-of-year tax filing. Julie researches various accounting and tax issues relevant to the financial situations of each association and its individual needs in an effort to keep each client abreast of the latest financial information. Her many years of experience have afforded her the opportunity to work with a variety of businesses giving her the versatility to work with for profit and non-profit groups alike.

Jordan Bennett
Jordan Bennett brings her bilingual communications expertise from her six years in the education industry to DCI.  She holds a dual undergraduate degree in Secondary Spanish and English Education in addition to a graduate degree in English Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas.  Jordan is the director of membership and vendor relations for PASBA and BRFA.  She also provides committee support for both associations and plans the National Training Meeting and portions of the Semi-Annual Conference for PASBA and the Spring member meeting for BRFA.  Additionally, she offers administrative support to PIFA.  Jordan uses her advanced language and communication skills to assist PASBA and BRFA in internal and external written publications as well as provide a high level of professionalism and client service that is the cornerstone of DCI.

Melissa Evans
Melissa Evans joins DCI with over seven years of experience working in the healthcare management field. As a graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University with a degree in sociology, she brings her knowledge of public resources, relations, and networking along with a high degree of professionalism to the company.  Melissa has worked on the frontlines of new system implementation and has collaborated with many different healthcare professionals to ensure a level of accuracy and timeliness in regards to program and patient satisfaction.  Her primary duties within the organization are supporting ICAK-USA and managing DCI’s accounting and office obligations.  She is responsible for creating and sending member promotions and mailers as well as facilitating many of the ICAK-USA publications and its website.  Melissa also coordinates the Vendor Showcase for the ICAK-USA Annual Meeting, including exhibitor registration and the sale of sponsorships and advertisements.  She is eager to use her expertise in business relations to advance and promote the growth of DCI.
